Farid Ullah

Farid Ullah is an experienced professional in the field of functional safety engineering, currently serving as a Functional Safety Manager at Bosch since April 2021, where responsibilities include developing technical safety concepts for application-specific integrated circuits in automotive applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Functional Safety Engineer/Manager at Bombardier Transportation, where Farid coordinated safety engineering tasks for the Generic Safe Platform, and as a Senior Functional Safety Engineer at BMW Group, focusing on the technical safety concept for the inverter of the BMW Gen5 electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. Farid's early career includes positions as a Master Thesis Student and Research Intern at ZF Friedrichshafen and Bosch, respectively, and an Assistant Executive Engineer at Karachi Electric Limited. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics and Electrical Drives from Brandenburg Technical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
