Narayanan Sankar

Narayanan Sankar has worked for several companies since 1994. Narayanan started their career at Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd, where they held the role of Senior Sales Manager for the Industrial Solutions division and Country Manager for the Metals, Mining and Paper division. In 1992, they moved to Siemens Pte Ltd in Singapore as a Senior Engineer for the Regional Business Unit. In 2004, they joined Siemens Limited in China as Head of IT Applications Center and Head of IT Applications - CIO. In 2010, they were appointed as General Manager of Microgrids and Storage at Siemens Limited China. In 2012, they moved to Siemens Energy Inc as Product Manager for the Microgrids, Smart Grids division. In 2013, they took on the role of Vice President (Strategy) - Emerging Technologies at Tri-Technic Inc. Narayanan Sankar is currently the Founder and CEO of Microgrid Labs.

Narayanan Sankar attended the National Institute of Technology from 1975 to 1980 where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical engineering.
