McKay Walker began their career in 2011 as a Marketing Intern at Micro Computer Systems, Inc. and a Business Marketing & Design Intern at Standard Journal Newspaper. McKay then took on the role of Marketing Publicity for Student Connections at Brigham Young University - Idaho, where they developed an in-house data collection system and designed a web portal to promote program initiatives.
In 2013, Walker co-founded Standards Planner and took on the role of Co-founder, Marketing & Developement. McKay then returned to Micro Computer Systems, Inc. as the Director of Business Development, where they were responsible for client acquisitions and the ongoing success of client relationships. In this role, they coached, counseled, and guided managers and associates on performance expectations, developed and maintained client relationship plans, and worked closely with partners to develop promotional, sales, and other marketing campaigns.
McKay Walker attended Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2005 to 2011 and obtained a degree in Business Management & Marketing with a field of study in Computer Information Technology.
