David James

David James is an experienced facilities management professional with a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing and environmental health and safety. Currently serving as Director of Global Facilities Technology at Micron Technology since February 2017, David is responsible for managing site facilities and the Environmental, Health and Safety organization. Prior roles include Corporate Facilities Engineering and Projects Manager at Cree, where David established project management standards and led the design of a new semiconductor production facility, and Head of Facilities at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, overseeing campus-wide facilities operations. With previous experience at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, BAE Systems, and Intel Corporation, David has demonstrated expertise in operations management, project leadership, and site start-up initiatives. David holds a Master's of Science in Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics from The University of Texas at Dallas.
