Hemant Rao is a seasoned HBM Design Architect currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Micron Technology. Previously, they held the position of Director, Device Engineering at EMD Electronics, focusing on novel materials and device architectures for AI Inference applications. Hemant has extensive experience at Intel Corporation, having worked as a Sr Staff Engineer in Logic Technology Development and managed 3D XPoint™ / Optane devices, in addition to internships that enriched their expertise in device engineering. Hemant earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
