John Bean

John Bean is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Micron Technology, where they lead a team of Decision Scientists focused on enhancing scheduling systems and developing capacity planning solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. With over two decades of experience in data management and decision automation, Bean specializes in bridging the gap between business challenges and information system development through expertise in iterative development, business intelligence, and mathematical modeling. Bean's previous roles include Operations Research Analyst and IE Systems Group Leader at Intel, as well as Operations Improvement & Analytics Manager at IM Flash. They hold a Master of Science in Management and Material Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University.
