John McCoy

John McCoy, CIH, CSP, possesses extensive experience in Environmental Health and Safety management, currently serving as Senior Manager of Global EHS Health/Emergency Management at Micron Technology since September 2003. In this role, McCoy manages the Environmental, Health, & Safety and Health Services programs for a semiconductor manufacturing facility with approximately 1,300 employees. Previous positions include Senior Industrial Hygienist at Micron Technology, where responsibilities encompassed respiratory protection and hazardous chemicals programs, as well as Safety Specialist at Washington Gas, investigating natural gas distribution incidents. Earlier experience includes roles at Washington Group International and Eastern Research Group, focusing on employee safety evaluations and the development of health and safety policies. McCoy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
