John Whitman has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as CVP of Front-End Operations Central Team and Procurement at Micron Technology since November 2012. Previous roles at Micron include Vice President of Operations Central Teams and Global Procurement, and R&D Director of Process Development. Whitman has also held significant positions at IM Flash Singapore LLP as Fab Director, where leadership contributed to the establishment of a 300mm fabrication facility, and at IM Flash Technologies as Purchasing Manager and Site Cost Reduction Manager. Early career experiences at Micron Technology included roles as R&D Photo Transfer Lead and Photo Engineer. Whitman is pursuing a Certificate of Business Excellence from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, expected in March 2024.
