Lei Lin is the Principal of System Media Architecture at Micron Technology, where they drive NAND system optimization and firmware-hardware integration, enhancing product performance and reliability. With over a decade of experience in memory technology, they leverage machine learning and advanced data analysis to develop media algorithms and preventive diagnostics across various platforms. Prior to their role at Micron, Lei served as a Memory Technologist at Sandisk and contributed significant advancements in NAND Flash memory technology. They began their academic journey at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where they worked as a Research Assistant, focusing on SiC-based device technology. Currently, Lei is pursuing multiple advanced degrees at prestigious institutions.
