Loren Hoffman

Loren Hoffman is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in photolithography and process integration in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Senior Photolithography Process Development Engineer at Micron Technology since March 2022, Loren develops advanced photolithography processes for next-generation DRAM nodes. Prior to this role, Loren was a Senior Process Integration Engineer at Intel Corporation for nearly nine years, where significant contributions included supporting lower interconnect layers for 10nm and 14nm technology nodes, driving yield and performance improvements, and leading task forces to enhance production efficiency. Earlier experience as a Lithography Process Engineer at Intel involved sustaining lithography processes, executing New Product Introductions, and training fellow engineers. Loren's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University and a B.S. in Physics from Caltech, complemented by postdoctoral research at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Northwestern University, focusing on galaxy formation and dynamics.
