Moorthy Murugaiah, known as M. Moorthy among industry peers, is a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of experience across Asia, EMEA, and the US. Holding a Bachelor of Management degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Moorthy currently serves as the Senior Director Regional Executive Business Partner for Micron Technology, overseeing HR practices for 40,000 employees. Moorthy has successfully led three greenfield manufacturing startups and has a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, earning recognition as HR Leader of the Year by HR Excellence Malaysia in 2024. In July 2024, Moorthy was conferred the DSPN title by the Penang State Government and also received an Honorary Mejar title from the Malaysian Armed Forces.
