Narayanan Ramanan is an experienced engineer specializing in non-volatile memory solutions and device engineering, currently serving as a Principal Engineer and Member of Technical Staff at Micron Technology since September 2021, focusing on the technology development of industry-leading 3-D NAND. Prior to this role, Narayanan worked at Intel Corporation from October 2014 to May 2021 as a Staff Engineer and Senior Engineer in the Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group, contributing to 3D-NAND Flash device and array engineering. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at North Carolina State University, where Narayanan fabricated and characterized AlGaN/GaN based devices and trained over 50 students as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Narayanan holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and both MTech and BTech degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
