Philip Charnas

Philip Charnas is a seasoned professional in global trade and compliance with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Global Trade at Micron Technology since May 2023, Philip previously held the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Trade at Applied Materials for a decade. Philip's expertise encompasses global export policy and strategy, import operations, and compliance activities across multiple regions, including the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Earlier roles included Director of International Trade at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where Philip led global export compliance audits, and Manager of International Trade at Ernst & Young LLP, focusing on customs consulting. Philip began a career in international trade at Arthur Andersen as an Experienced Associate. Philip holds an MBA from New Mexico State University and a BA from The Ohio State University.
