Prashanth Kumar Manda is a highly experienced engineer currently holding positions as Staff Engineer in both TD CMOS Device Process Integration and TD NAND Device at Micron Technology since July 2019, as well as previously serving as Senior NAND Device Engineer and NVE MNAND RMA Senior Product Engineer. Prior to this, Prashanth conducted research and completed a PhD and Master of Science by Research in Microelectronics and VLSI at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2012 to 2019, focusing on organic solar cells and various physics-based methods for potential extraction. This academic foundation was further supplemented with a MTech in VLSI & Embedded Systems from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and a BTech in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology. Additionally, Prashanth contributed to the academic community as a Teaching Assistant for several engineering courses and served as President of The Optical Society (OSA) IITM student chapter starting in April 2014.
