Sharon Lai is a business enabler and provides counsel on a wide range of commercial transactions. Currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel at Micron Technology since 2023, Sharon has held various positions including Director of IP Legal for the Americas at Volvo Cars from 2018 to 2023, and Senior Associate at Reed Smith LLP from 2013 to 2018. Sharon began their legal career as an Associate Attorney at Krieg, Keller, Sloan, Reilley & Roman LLP from 2008 to 2013. Educated at Syracuse University College of Law, Sharon graduated cum laude with a JD and holds an MBA from the same institution, alongside a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, in Molecular & Cell Biology and English Literature.
