Summer Workman

Summer Workman is a communications and engagement leader with a passion for writing and communication across various mediums. They served as an intern with NASA's Human Capital Management team, focusing on employee outreach strategies, and later worked as a publications specialist at Hayah International Academy, where they managed stakeholder engagement. Currently, Summer holds the position of Coordinator of Communications at Lawrence Public Schools while also serving as the Executive Communications Project & Program Manager at Micron Technology. They earned a Master of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Arts in English, Creative Writing from Washburn University.
