Umer Malik

Umer Malik is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware design, application engineering, and program management across several leading technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Micron Technology since November 2022, Umer previously held the role of Principal Hardware Application Engineer at Ampere and Technical Lead at Microchip Technology Inc. Umer's expertise encompasses enterprise storage, high-speed digital design, firmware development, and customer management. Umer has also worked as a Hardware Engineer at Cisco Systems, contributed to hardware design and verification at Logitech and Microsoft, and served as a System Engineer at Philips. Umer earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Walden University.
