William Melton

William Melton is an accomplished professional in the field of electrical engineering with extensive experience in memory technology development. Currently a Fellow at Micron Technology since March 2010, William Melton focuses on statistical product modeling for emerging memory technologies and oversees test development and characterization. Previously, William Melton served as Technical Director and Director of Product Engineering at Numonyx, where responsibilities included leading product development for phase-change memory technologies and managing a team of approximately 75 engineers and technicians. Prior to that, William Melton was a Product Development Engineering Manager at Intel, where leadership of a team led to advancements in multi-level-cell NOR flash memories. William Melton's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
