Fred Barbier is an experienced professional in the field of microdisplay and imaging technology, currently serving as the Head of Microdisplay Product Development at MICROOLED since January 2025. Prior to this role, Fred Barbier held various positions at Teledyne e2v from June 2012 to January 2025, including Project Manager overseeing project teams of 15-20 senior engineers, R&D Project Manager for CMOS image sensors, and CMOS image sensor design leader. Earlier career experience includes serving as CMOS image sensor design leader and Pixel Design and Testchips team leader at STMicroelectronics from April 2006 to June 2012, as well as Design Engineer roles at Dolphin Integration and Elsys Design. Fred Barbier holds a Maitrise EEA in Electronics from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and completed additional studies at INSA Lyon.
