Marc Vernet

Marc Vernet has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marc is currently working as an ActiveLook OEM Business Line Manager at MICROOLED since July 2016. In November 2021, they joined Time for the Planet as an Associé.

Prior to that, Marc worked at STMicroelectronics. From July 2013 to June 2016, they served as the Android TV & IP Set-Top Box Business Line Manager, where they designed and implemented ST's Android TV value proposition. Marc managed a portfolio of 30+ business opportunities and focused on strategic ones to drive direct volumes and copy-cat businesses.

Marc also worked as a Freelancer in 2013, where they provided consulting services to Isorg, a start-up, for technology valuation. Their role involved identifying and qualifying value-creating use-cases for Isorg's touchless technology in mobile devices. This work contributed to Isorg signing a significant $150M contract for the recommended application.

Additionally, Marc has experience working at ST-Ericsson as the Mobile Platform Lead System Architect & Domain Leader from December 2011 to July 2013. Marc also had a long tenure at STMicroelectronics, starting from July 2002 to December 2011. During this time, they held multiple roles including Embedded DRAM Design Line Manager, Project Manager, and Optical MEMS Designer at Ospitech from July 2001 to July 2002.

In their various roles, Marc demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and technical skills. Marc has contributed to the development of innovative technologies and delivered successful business outcomes.

Marc Vernet completed their education in a chronological order. In 1998, they enrolled at Grenoble INP - UGA, where they pursued a degree in Electronics. Marc successfully completed their studies in 2002. After a gap of several years, they re-entered the education system in 2014 and attended emlyon business school. Here, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Marc completed their MBA program in 2016.
