Efren Tercias has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Efren started their career in 1985 as a Technical Supervisor at WORDTEXT SYSTEMS, INC. From there, they moved on to Asian Development Bank as a Technical Assistant - Sr. Analyst. In 1991, they became a Technical Manager at SiS Technologies, Inc. and later transferred to MICROPHASE ENTERPRISE CO. in 1994, still as a Technical Manager. In 1996, they joined UNISYS Philippines, Inc. as a Network Enable Specialist. Efren then worked as a Technical Manager at ImagineAsia, Inc. from 1997 to 2000. In 2001, they became the Chief Technology Officer at MICROPHASE/MICROIMAGE/MICROPACIFIC. Efren expanded their skillset by becoming a Radio Host at DZEM 954Khz in 2003 and continued their radio hosting career at DZEC 1062Khz in 2008. Throughout their career, Efren Tercias has consistently held technical and managerial positions, demonstrating their expertise in various fields.

Efren Tercias began their education in 1981 at the Manila Technician Institute, where they pursued a degree in Electronics Technology with a focus on Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. Efren studied at the institute for three years until 1984. Following this, from 1985 to 1986, Efren attended the Technological University of the Philippines, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Technology.
