Ankita Bhat

Ankita Bhat is a gender and development specialist with extensive experience in advancing gender equality across various sectors. They served as a Fellow at The Swedish Institute, participating in the SI Leader Lab, and held the position of Gender Specialist at World Health Partners, where they focused on integrating gender considerations into healthcare during the COVID-19 response. Ankita has also worked as a Social and Gender Development Expert at the Asian Development Bank, leading initiatives on Gender Responsive Budgeting in India. Currently, they are the Manager of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion at MicroSave Consulting, where they design and monitor projects aimed at women's economic empowerment.
