S M Rahman is a seasoned professional in the microfinance sector, having served as a Microfinance and SME Specialist from 1996 to 2011. Currently, Rahman is the Country Representative at MicroSave, focusing on market-led solutions for financial services since 2011. Rahman also held the position of Acting Team Leader for the INCOME III Project at CARE Bangladesh during 2006-2007. Academically, Rahman earned a B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc from the Department of Statistics at Dhaka University and holds an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University.
