Aaron Sweeney

Aaron Sweeney is a Principal Solution Engineer in AI Security with Microsoft, leveraging over twenty years of experience in cybersecurity architectures, networking, and information assurance. Previously serving as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, they played a key role in Microsoft Security adoption for enterprise clients. Aaron’s career includes extensive roles with the US Army, Cisco, and other defense contractors, where they have focused on security solutions, infrastructure design, and training. They hold a B.S. in Information Technology—Security from Western Governors University. Aaron is also a Cyber Operations NCO in the Army National Guard, conducting both Defensive and Offensive Cyber Operations.
