Abir Chakraborty

Abir Chakraborty is currently a Principal Applied Scientist Manager at Microsoft, where they focus on advanced data science applications. Previously, they held roles as a Principal Data Scientist at both [24]7 and Flipkart, where they developed machine learning solutions for e-commerce and customer experience. Abir's early career included positions at General Motors as a Senior Researcher and Lead Engineer, where they applied physics-based models to predict automotive injury and the remaining useful life of components. Abir earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and has extensive education in engineering, having also completed a Master’s degree and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
