Akber Mohammed

Akber Mohammed is currently a Principal SOC DFT Engineer at Microsoft, focusing on design-for-test methodologies. Previously, they held roles at Intel Corporation as a Senior Staff SOC DFT Engineer and at Freescale Semiconductors Inc. as a Staff DFT Engineer. Akber has a robust background in developing DFT methodologies from architecture to RTL, and has collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance test coverage. They earned a Master's degree in VLSI from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Osmania University, alongside experience as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University.
