Asad Azam is a highly accomplished System-on-Chip (SoC) and System Architect with over two decades of experience in the field. They currently serve as a Principal SoC Silicon and System Architect at Microsoft, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, Asad was with Intel Corporation from 2009 to 2014 in various engineering roles, including Silicon HW SoC Architect and Principal Engineer Client SoC Architect. They also worked as a Research Specialist at the University of Connecticut in 2003 and held an internship at Quantum in 2000. Asad earned both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
