Ashutosh Bapat

Ashutosh Bapat is a seasoned software engineer and major contributor to the PostgreSQL community, currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft. With extensive experience in database server development, they have developed features in bi-directional replication at 2ndQuadrant and contributed to distributed database projects such as Postgres-XC and PPAS at EnterpriseDB. Ashutosh's background includes roles at Sybase and Hortonworks, focusing on storage systems and replication technologies, as well as academic positions as a teaching assistant and visiting professor.
