Benjamin Yao is currently the Engineering Director for Azure Client Tools at Microsoft, where they lead multiple engineering and PM teams across various global locations. With a robust background in cloud enterprise software development, Benjamin has successfully established and managed multicultural engineering teams across China, Germany, Canada, and India. Benjamin holds a PhD candidacy in Database Systems from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Alberta and mini EMBA programs from China Europe International Business School and Fudan University.
