Brett Ostrum is a highly experienced corporate executive at Microsoft, serving since August 1997 in various leadership roles related to product development and management for Surface and Xbox devices. As Corporate Vice President, Brett has been responsible for overseeing Surface P&L, managing product development teams, and guiding the Surface device roadmap, program management, and hardware product development. Prior to these roles, Brett held positions such as General Manager, Director, and Electrical Engineer, contributing to the design and engineering of multiple hardware products, including Microsoft's first optical mouse. Brett began professional career as an Electrical Engineer at Fluke Corporation after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
