Brian Caswell

Brian Caswell is a Principal at Microsoft Research, where they architect projects such as Project Freta and have previously led technical efforts on Project OneFuzz. Prior to this role, they founded Lunge Technology, contributing significantly to DARPA’s cyber warfare initiatives. Brian has also held positions at Raytheon, DDTEK, and Sourcefire, where they made notable advancements in information security, particularly in intrusion detection and vulnerability disclosure. Their career began with an impactful role at MITRE, overseeing intrusion detection and incident response. Brian is currently pursuing education at James Madison University.
