Carlos Goncalves is currently the Area Cloud Practice Lead at Microsoft, bringing 20 years of experience in ICT and delivering technology solutions to customers across Europe South and the Middle East and Africa. They previously held various roles at Microsoft, including Architect Manager and Principal Engagement Manager. Prior to their time at Microsoft, Carlos served as a Chief Technology Officer at Bytes Intelleca and the Director of Technology at Encue Communications. They began their career as a Software Developer at Vodac and later worked as a Software Engineer at Boscom Ltd and a Software Architect at Tranxactive. Carlos earned a BSc Eng from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1995 and continued their education there until 2016.
