Catherine Muraga

Catherine Muraga is a seasoned tech executive currently serving as the Managing Director of Microsoft Africa Development Centre and the Engineering Director in the Identity and Network Access group at Microsoft Corporation. With extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries, including positions at Sidian Bank and Stanbic Bank Kenya, they are dedicated to leveraging technology to foster positive business outcomes and impact lives in the STEM ecosystem throughout Africa. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Africa Nazarene University and has completed several specialized programs at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, focusing on Fintech and Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, they serve as an Independent Director and Board Chair at Kopo Kopo.
