Christopher Bishop is a distinguished academic and researcher in the fields of computer science and theoretical physics. Currently serving as Laboratory Director and Technical Fellow at Microsoft, along with a role as Chief Research Scientist, Christopher has held notable positions as a Fellow at Darwin College Cambridge and as a Professor of Computer Science at both the University of Edinburgh and Aston University. Previously, Christopher was the Head of the Applied Neurocomputing Centre at AEA Technology. Christopher earned a PhD in Theoretical Physics from The University of Edinburgh and an MA in Physics from the University of Oxford.
