Darren Edge

Darren Edge is a Senior Director in Microsoft Research Special Projects, where they focus on building technologies and partnerships to address significant societal challenges. They lead innovative research projects involving AI Memory Systems, Intelligence Analysis, and Human Rights Technology, while also engaging with the Tech Against Trafficking coalition to combat human trafficking. Previously, Darren served as a Lead Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia and has published extensively in areas related to human-computer interaction and societal resilience. They hold both a BA and a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
