Darryn O'Brien

Darryn O'Brien possesses extensive experience in cybersecurity and sales management, currently serving as Cyber Security Manager for Ireland and Northern Ireland at Microsoft since April 2018. O'Brien has held multiple key roles at Microsoft, including Modern Work & Security Lead and Cybersecurity Sales Lead for South Africa. Prior to Microsoft, O'Brien was Regional Sales Manager - Africa at AppDynamics, Country Manager for Southern Africa at Trend Micro, and held several positions at Symantec Corporation, including Team Leader for Enterprise Sales. O'Brien began the career at PC-WARE Corp. as Sales Manager and has also worked as Altiris BU Manager at PC-WARE South Africa and in sales at First Technology. O'Brien holds a Diploma in Business Management from Varsity College and completed secondary education at Frans du Toit High School in Phalabowra.
