Debbie Furtado

Debbie Furtado has over two decades of experience in software engineering and management, primarily at Microsoft. Starting as a Software Design Engineer in 2000, Debbie contributed to projects such as the PricingMaintenance App. Progressing to Senior Software Developer Lead and later roles, including Senior Development Engineering Manager and Principal Group Engineering Manager, Debbie led the design and development of key platforms and systems, enhancing supportability and driving significant improvements in engineering metrics. Notable achievements include leading the migration of developer services to Azure with zero downtime and managing high-scale data platforms that provide essential insights for millions of customers. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Master in Management Studies focusing on Finance Management from Goa University.
