Dee Templeton is currently the CVP and Deputy CTO at Microsoft, overseeing operations for nearly 1,500 scientists and engineers in the Technology & Research group. As an advisor to CTO Kevin Scott, Dee leads a team advancing significant technical partnerships, including a cross-functional collaboration with OpenAI. Dee began their career at Microsoft 25 years ago as the first female technical employee in New Zealand, and has since held various engineering and product roles across multiple divisions. Prior to their current role, Dee served as the Head of Technical Partnerships for the CTO from 2018 to 2022. Dee remains engaged in their education at Paraparaumu College.
