Deepak Kamalanathan

Deepak Kamalanathan is a seasoned professional in hardware manufacturing and semiconductor development with extensive experience at leading technology companies. Currently serving as Director of Hardware Manufacturing at Microsoft, Deepak specializes in hardware infrastructure for cloud computing, focusing on AI and general-purpose computing. Previously held the position of Sr. Manager at Applied Materials, where responsibilities included overseeing semiconductor device and product development, and managing non-volatile memory projects. Deepak’s earlier roles include Manager of Hardware Engineering at SanDisk®, where work centered on 3D NAND and memory reliability, and further electrical engineering positions at Adesto Technologies and Arizona State University, where significant contributions to non-volatile memory technologies were made. Deepak holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, further solidifying a strong educational foundation in the field.
