Dibyendu Dey

Dibyendu Dey, PhD, is a Principal Engineer at Microsoft with over 15 years of expertise in silicon debug and post-silicon validation. They architected Microsoft’s post-silicon validation software and led foundational debug tools that enabled first-silicon bring-up for the Cobalt project. Previously, they developed software tools for Intel and were recognized with multiple awards for their contributions. Dibyendu holds five patent filings under USPTO review and has a strong background in both physics and electrical engineering, having earned multiple degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Northwestern University.
