Eddie James is a Senior UX Researcher at Microsoft, currently focused on redefining document creation through innovative research. Eddie has extensive experience in UX research and design, having previously held roles at companies such as Vanguard Group, Comcast, and CircleCI. At Vanguard, Eddie led a design team to transform outdated transactions into user-centered web experiences, while at Calendly, they spearheaded generative research to enhance time management and scheduling products. An advocate for best practices in user research, Eddie has founded a consulting firm and guided teams in various industries on UX methodologies. Eddie is pursuing a BA in Mass Communications from Emory and Henry College and an MA in Interaction Design from the University of Baltimore.
