Eric Montoya

Eric Montoya is the Director of Security Engineering at Microsoft, a role they have held since 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Infrastructure Manager at Guidepost Solutions from 2012 to 2016, overseeing technical services for Microsoft’s datacenter security program. Their experience also includes project management roles at Netversant Technologies and The Ackerley Group, where they managed infrastructure projects and technology implementations. In addition to their technical expertise, Eric developed an art career from 1991 onward, exhibiting nationally and creating public artworks. They began their professional journey as a System Administrator at AK Media from 1995 to 1998.
