Freddy Dezeure

Freddy Dezeure is a highly experienced senior security executive currently serving as the Deputy CISO for Europe at Microsoft. They have a robust background in cyber security operations, policy, technology, and risk management, having held various advisory roles and leadership positions throughout their career. Freddy founded and led CERT-EU, establishing it as a leading IT security group within the EU institutions. They have also served in multiple capacities at the European Commission, including heading several audit and technology transfer units. With a Master of Science in Engineering from KU Leuven, Freddy is recognized as a thought leader in the cyber security community, frequently speaking at conferences on current best practices.
