Gavin Barron is a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft, focusing on Developer Experience for Microsoft Graph. With a strong background in web application development, they have effectively led globally distributed teams and served as a technical lead across multiple projects. Gavin previously held positions as a Solution Architect and Principal Solutions Architect, where they directed significant initiatives such as the Digital Venue Platform and Azure Rights Management solutions. They also contributed to the successful transition of Microsoft events to a digital format during the Covid-19 pandemic. Gavin is currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Canterbury.
