Gurupada Mandal

Gurupada Mandal is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and AI silicon development industries. Currently serving as Principal Engineer in AI Silicon Development at Microsoft since May 2012, Gurupada has held key positions in various companies, including Director of Design at MoSys and Director of Engineering for DDR Interface at Prism Circuits. Previous roles include Principal MTS at AMD, Sr. Staff Engineer at Xilinx, and Sr. Staff Engineering positions at SUN MicroSystems Inc. and STMicroelectronics. Gurupada's career began as a design and development team member at Semiconductor Complex Ltd (India). Gurupada holds a B.S. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, earned from 1986 to 1990.
