Harsha Deshmukh

Harsha Deshmukh is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, having transitioned into the role in 2024 after previously serving as a Software Engineer at both Microsoft and Cisco. Harsha began their career as an IT Business Analyst at Cummins Inc. in 2017 and later completed a project internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they designed a Compiler Optimizer Generator tool. Harsha earned a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Technology with a focus on Data Analytics from Purdue University, where they also held the position of President of the ACM-W student chapter, advocating for women in computing. Their academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from MKSSS's Cummins College of Engineering for Women.
