Henri Suominen

Henri Suominen is a Senior Data Scientist at Microsoft Quantum, having joined the team in 2021. Prior to this role, Henri worked as a Data Scientist at Microsoft from 2019 to 2021 and co-founded amie, a graph-based notebook for data scientists and researchers, where they served as Chief Product Officer between 2017 and 2019. Henri also gained extensive research experience as a PhD Fellow at the Niels Bohr Institute, focusing on topological quantum computing applications, and held various research roles at Åbo Akademi University, NTT, and Universität Wien. Henri earned a First Class MChemPhys degree from The University of Edinburgh and a PhD from Københavns Universitet, specializing in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics.
