James Hall

James Hall is a Senior Applied & Data Scientist on the Automated Machine Learning Team at Microsoft Research, where they focus on computer vision and deep learning applications. They earned a PhD in Mathematics with a concentration in Computational Science and Mathematical Engineering from UC San Diego, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant and Postdoctoral Researcher. Prior to their role at Microsoft, James worked as a Research Scientist at Intel Corporation and as a Member of the Technical Staff at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, contributing to significant advancements in machine learning and technology integration.
