Jie Cai

Jie Cai, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in Computational Linguistics from Heidelberg University and has extensive experience in applied Natural Language Processing (NLP). Jie began their career as an intern at Nokia Research Center and later worked at Microsoft, where they contributed to several key search relevance features for Bing, including document understanding and user profile inferences. In 2017, Jie joined PatSnap as R&D NLP Manager, leading a team in developing NLP solutions for patent and scientific publication data. Currently, Jie serves as Principal Engineer Manager at Microsoft, continuing to advance their expertise in the field.
