Jim Davis has a long-standing passion for technology, beginning with early experiences using computers. They earned a BBA in Accounting and Economics from James Madison University in 1994. Throughout their career, Jim worked in various roles, including as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Wachovia and a Network Services Manager at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. From 1998 to 2013, they served as a Principal Consultant at Microsoft, overseeing complex service engagements. Currently, as the lead architect and engineer for the Microsoft Industry Solutions PIDS product team, Jim focuses on migrating Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions. Additionally, they lead the Microsoft Rapid Application Deployment open-source project.
